On the basis of interim report submitted by Justice Muzaffar Jan Commission, the government today placed under suspension following officers/officials with immediate effect.
These officers/officials are Javaid Iqbal Mattoo, Superintendent of Police, suspended vide Government Order No: Home-530 (P) of 2009 dated 22.06.2009 Rohit Baskotra, Deputy Superintendent of Police, suspended vide Government Order No: Home-528 (P) of 2009 dated 22.06.2009, Gazi Abdul Karim, Sub Inspector, suspended vide Government Order No: Home-529 (P) of 2009 dated 22.06.2009, Shafiq Ahmad, Inspector, suspended vide Government Order No: Home-531 (P) of 2009 dated 22.06.2009 and Javaid Iqbal Hafiz, Scientific Officer, FSL, suspended vide Government Order No: Home-527 (P) of 2009 dated 22.06.2009.
