BJP supports PHE employees

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has expressed its solidarity with the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department employees and advised the Minister Taj Mohi-u-Din to desist from irresponsible attitude, which affects the general public of Jammu region in these summers. This was stated by party Spokesperson Ramesh Arora in a statement issued here on Tuesday. While expressing full solidarity with these employees, he said the government has failed to provide regular water and electricity to the people which is basic need of the people for survival. Ramesh Arora further said that the government wanted to shift the responsibility of its failure of providing basic amenities on employees; hence the move of government is well calculated move. “Why Taj Mohi-u-Din has not called the employees for negotiation and settlement by amicable means on table, questioned Ramesh Arora. IVth Class employees transfer to an area for away from his home town affects his survival and family” he asked. Ramesh Arora appealed the government not to test the patience of people in these days when there is dire necessity of round the clock electricity and regular supply of drinking water. However, he also appealed the employees to see to it that people do not suffer in hot season due to their strike.
