Jammu and Kashmir Government has released Rs. 239 crore under NABARD for completion of all the pending projects besides taking up new developmental projects in Kashmir.
Under PMGSY 224 schemes have been completed out of 849 schemes so far in the Kashmir Valley.
Rs. 2.27 crore have been disbursed as land compensation among the land owners in Uri tehsil out of Rs 3.13 crore earmarked for the purpose. 91 habitations, out of 100, have been connected in district Pulwama, 40 out of 54 in Anantnag, 45 out of 90 in Baramulla, 42 out of 46 in Kulgam, 17 out of 45 in Srinagar and 11 out of 36 habitations in Bandipora-Ganderbal district.
