JJSF holds protest against police post in JU

Today Jammu Joint Students’ Federation (JJSF) held a strong protest against the setting of Police Post in the premises of Jammu University. Students boycotted the classes of both GGM Science College and SPMR College of Commerce. In GGM Science College the boycotted was led by Sahil Choudhary (President, GGM Science College). All the students gathered at the main gate of the college were he addressed the students and warned the JU authorities against setting up of police post. After the addressed the rally was took out of the college where the students had a clash with police as they were trying to prevent them from coming out but the agitating students succeeded and marched towards the SPMR College. In SPMR College of Commerce the classes were also boycotted under the banner of JJSF where the protest was led by Kulbinder Singh (President, SMPR College). All the students of the college gathered in the main premises of the college. During the occasion while addressing the students of both colleges Kulbinder also warned JU authorities against the opening of police post in the campus. Others who spoke on the occasion include Abhay Sharma (Vice President, GGM Science College), Sumit Gupta (City President, JJSF), Varun Gupta, Rakesh Sharma (President, ITI College), Vishal Bhat, Jyoti Choudhary, Ravi Sharma, Davinder Singh, Raman Singh, Deepak Sharma, Zaffar Iqbal, Rahul Ghai, Thakur Shivdev Singh, Yogesh., Aman Singh etc.
