JJSF holds protest against police post in JU, RTO

Jammu Joint Student Federation (JJSF) today held a protest at Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Jammu against the establishment of police post at JU and against the RTO Jammu for concession to students in fare of public transport. The students of ITI College boycott their classes under the leadership of Rakesh Sharma (President ITI),Vikram Singh Narender Singh, Aman Sharma, Sunny Sharma etc. All the students gathered in college ground and raised slogans against JU and State Govt. JJSF leaders also join the occasion under leadership of Mr. Partap Singh Jamwal ( State Vice-President JJSF), who said that there is no need to establish a police post in any university in India. He also asked that why the JU authorities felt the need to establish a police post. He further criticized the R.T.O Jammu against its failure to get the students concession of 50% in fare implemented by the public transporters for students of far off areas and enable them to reach the institutions. He demanded that the RTO must take necessary step in favor of students. Sahil Choudhary President (GGM Science College) and Abhay Sharma addressed the students while asking, what is the surety that there will be no police post established in future in colleges also. They also condemned that the establishment of police post in JU has no logic as the students are not criminals. Th Shiv Dev Singh (Gen. Secy. JJSF) Sumit Gupta ( City President) Davinder Singh (Block President), Ankit Gupta, Nitish Sharma, Himanshu Sharma, Atinderpal Singh, Nitin Gupta, Dikshit Sharma, Varun Gupta, Ajay, Neeraj,Akash Sharma were also present on the occasion.
