
Jammu & Kashmir Uthaan Manch (JKUM), today stressed upon Govt and peoples to work together to make J&K State a Model state, this was said in a press conference by its Chief Patron, Kailash Pati Sharma. He appealed the Govt to Implement plans rather than just publicity in papers. He also criticized un-authorized education study centers, tempering marks of students, high tuition charges which are spoiling the youths and stressed for immediate actions against those involved in such malpractices. He extended support to National Secular Forum (NSF) President, Vikas Sharma’s demand of action against culprits indulged in mass copying in B-ed examination in few colleges. He condemned strongly the statement of ministers, who according to him, have been talking about development but not against corruption which have taken ugly shape in our state, he added. He appreciated Chief Minister’s initiatives but these are not enough and need action on ground, citing the example he said that the engineers on 5-7 lac can not establish business. The ministers should not confined only to their constituencies by consider the
Jammu and Kashmir as whole for the development purpose. He also flayed Working Group report on Centre-State relations. He claimed that JKUM helped about 10 engineers, 2 MBAs, 3 Diploma engineers in getting job outside state and committed to continue same.
