Resident of Rakh-i-Arth housing colony encroacher of Authority land: LCMA

  • Says blackmailing Authority; trying to convert Authority land for commercial purposes

SRINAGAR: The Lake Conservation and Management Authority (LCMA) today made it clear that a video gone viral on social media  by one person namely Mubashir Ahmad Nagoo S/o Fayaz Ahmad Nagoo residing at present at Rakh-i-Arth housing colony, is repeatedly   encroaching upon the land of the Authority and trying to convert it for commercial purposes, which has  not been allotted to him.

As per an official statement, It was informed that the said person has no right over the said land which is still in the name of the Authority and has been illegally encroached upon. 

The statement further read that the said person is blackmailing the Authority more particularly the  dedicated field staff at Rakh-i-arth and leveling false allegations and taking refuge of social networking sites in order to cover up his illegal acts. 

The said person along with other hooligans entered the sub divisional office and threatened the employees by abusing and manhandling which  resulted  interference to the employees in discharging their legitimate duties and has even tried to damage the doors and windows of sub divisional office, mentioned the statement.

Meanwhile, in this regard an FIR has already been lodged against him in police station Bemina.
