Eid-ul-Adha celebrated with joy, religious fervour in Doda

DODA: The festival of Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervor in Doda, as a large gathering from the Muslim community offered Eid Prayers at Eidgah Doda, this morning.

The Imam of Jamia Masjid Doda led the namaz, which was attended by Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, SSP, Javaid Iqbal, ADC, Sudarshan Kumar, ACR, Sunil Kumar Bhutyal and other senior civil and police officers.

The occasion was marked by a spirit of unity and communal harmony as people came together to celebrate this auspicious festival.

Eid prayers were also conducted at various other locations across District Doda, where similar scenes of devotion and celebration were observed.

The District Administration Doda has made elaborate security and other necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the festival.

The DC also interacted with members of the Muslim community and extended heartfelt Eid greetings.

Eid-ul-Azha celebrated with religious fervor, enthusiasm at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: Eid-ul-Azha celebrated with religious fervor, gaiety in district Kishtwar, here today. Thousands of Muslim brethren thronged local mosques and performed Nimaz-e-Eid and prayed for peace, development and prosperity of the district Kishtwar as well as the UT.

Elaborate arrangements were made by the district and police administration for smooth celebration of Eid festival at Chowgan Ground.

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav, SSP, Abdul Qayoom remained present besides monitoring and supervising the security and other arrangements.

ADC, Pawan Kotwal, ACR, Idrees Lone, ACD, Phulail Singh, Tehsildar and officers from Army, CRPF, Police and civil administration were also present on the occasion.

They exchanged Eid greetings with Muslim brethren and prayed for peace, tranquillity, integrity, communal harmony and brotherhood.

Advisor Bhatnagar extends Eid-ul-Adha greetings

SRINAGAR: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar has extended his warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

In his greeting, Advisor Bhatnagar said that this festival of sacrifice teaches the spirit of compassion and unity and reflects universal message of generosity and solidarity.

He added that this festival also encourages reflection on the values of empathy and community, fostering bonds of goodwill among diverse communities. The Advisor also prayed for peace progress and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
