Complete Developmental projects quickly: Jora

Inspects Rs. 51.15 Cr. District Offices, Hospital complex Kishtwar
The Minister for Tourism and Culture Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora has stressed upon the District Administration Kishtwar to re-double their efforts and ensure time bound completion of ongoing developmental projects being carried out under various sectors for holistic development of the area. He also underscored the need for initiating an awareness campaigns about various welfare schemes under implementation in rural and far off areas for ensuring socio-economic upliftment of the poor and un-employed educated youth. 
This was stated by the Minister during his inspection of various developmental projects at Kishtwar today. He inspected the pace of work of District Office complex Kishtwar. He was informed that the work on this complex has been taken up at a cost of Rs.40 Crore. 
Mr. Jora also visited District Hospital Kishtwar and enquired about the medicare facilities kept available by the government for the patients. He also went around all sections of the hospital and interacted with the patients and the staff. He also inspected newly constructed OPD Block and under execution IPD Block.
The Minister was apprised that the 100 bedded Hospital is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 11.15 crore and so far an amount of Rs.1.77 crore have been expended on the project. 
The Minister exhorted upon the engineers and officers to ensure timely completion of the ongoing projects so that the benefits of these would reach at the grass root level.  
Mr. Jora also visited Pochhal, Kishtwar and assessed the Tourism potential of the area besides inspected the execution of Saffron Safari taken up at a cost of Rs. 60.98 lakh. He was informed that this project would be completed by end of December this year.
The Minister gave on spot instructions to the concerned officers to ensure cleanliness, landscaping and construction of new gate at Bait-ul -Zai-ren complex besides develop other facilities for the devotees coming to the Ziarat of Shah Farid-ud-Din Sahib.
