Jammu and Kashmir Government has proposed an amount of Rs 12.82 crore for implementation of Backward Regions Grant Fund (BRGF) under which 1661 developmental works would be taken up by the different departments in district Kupwara During for creation of valuable assets besides jobs to rural and urban population.
The MLA, Kupwara, Mir Saifullah, MLA Lolab Abdul Haq Khan and MLA Langate, Er. Abdul Rashid were present in the meeting besides concerned sectoral and district officers.
The MLAs urged upon the officers and implementing agencies to work with added zeal to achieve the target fixed under the scheme.
The Rural Development department displayed the official website regarding the implementation of the BRGF and its aims and objectives in the meeting.
