Prize Distribution function held at DSW JU

The Department of Students Welfare (DSW), Jammu University today conducted prize distribution function of 1^st and 2^nd phase of the “Display Your Talent” 2009-10 including the Fine Art and Literary Activities.

The 98 students were awarded under the various categories like Flower Arrangement, Collage, Installation, Poster-Making, Clay-Modeling, Cartooning, Sketching, painting, Rangoli, Poetry-Recitation, Debate, Elocution, Essay Writing, Quiz and Short Story Writing.
Prof N D Ganai Dean Academic Affairs was the chief guest and distributed the prizes amongst the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prize winners. In addition certificate of merit were also distributed.

Prof J S Tara Dean Students Welfare delivered the welcome address. The proceedings was conducted by Rameshwari Slathia, Secretary Students Cultural Council.

Among other Prof Versha Mehta, Prof Shohab Inayat malik, Dr Hardeep Chahal, Dr Sandeep tendon and Prof Poonam Choudhary were also present.
