Mohd. Shahnawaz has been found apt for the chair of the All India General Secretary by Sh. Rahul Gandhi through the special Talent Hunt Program launched by Sh. Rahul Gandhi to attract the best youth in NSUI. He along with many other student leaders underwent a screening by a specially appointed screening committee and was personally interviewed by Sh. Rahul Gandhi twice before being inducted in the National body.
