Stories being planted and conceived for ulterior motives

Union Health Minister, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has said that the report published in one newspaper regarding his secret meeting with PDP President, Ms Mehbooba Mufti and senior PDP leader, Mr. Muzaffar Hussain Baig seems to be part of misinformation campaign which is conceived and planted by those elements who have some ulterior and vested interest behind such moves. He said and made it crystal clear that during last fifteen months he has not even talked to them on telephone and there is no question of having a secret meeting with them. He said that none among us is any microscopic personality when any such meeting will remain secret and media will not come to know Mr. Azad said that one particular newspaper which has conceived this idea and published on its front page and planted on behalf of mischievous elements has lost its own credibility as he failed to establish the same.

He said that the newspaper report that Mr. Azad is making frequent visits to Srinagar is again contrary to real facts as his present visit to Srinagar was after a gap of many months. He said arrival of Union Ministers to the capital of home states is always frequent as most of the Ministers normally come on each Saturday and Sunday to capital, of their home state to take stock of the development activities and it has been precedence during the past with majority of the Ministers here.

He hoped that no misconception will be allowed to be spread by planting such imaginary, mischievous and false stories through the media for the reasons best known to them who plant such stories.
