4-day state level painting competition begins

A four days State level painters camp was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture at Kala Kendra.

The Exhibition Officer Gulam Mohiuddin told that this is for the first time in the history of Jammu that about forty six participants are displaying their talent. The artists also painting on the spot to elucidate on various aspects and intricacies involved in painting. Mohi-ud-Din further informed that 20 participants have already present to display there talent at Kala Kendra camp held at state level. While 26 others will participate in All India Painter’s Exhibition which will remain for 7 days starting from 16^th to 22^nd December at Dang Bangla, Rajouri.

Those artists who displayed their talent at Kala Kendra were Triloki koul, M.A Mehoob, Prof. Zahoor Ahmed Zarigar, Gokal Dambi, Ashok Mehra, Shama sondhi, Rohit Verma, Shaukat Khantizoo, Shahida Malika, Arshid sualeh, Masood Naquish Bandi, Vinay Khujaria, Dr. Raj Kumar, Richa Gupta, Suman Gupta, Javed Iqbal Vijay sairab, K.K Gupta and Jang singh Berman.
