J&K Peoples Forum floated, seeks cooperation of likeminded people

The newly floated J&K Peoples Forum has sought the cooperation of the like minded people from all shades of the society to come on single platform to work for strengthening the bonds and full integration of the state with the rest of the country besides providing social justice to all the regions and sections of the society, equitable and just representation to all the regions and sections of the society in all spheres of life and protection of internal and external security concerns. The Convener of the Forum, Mr. Ramesh Sabharwal in a press communiqué said that prevailing environment in the sensitive state of Jammu and Kashmir warrants definite response not only to promote national unity and integrity but to secure full merger of the state with the rest of the country and ensure social justice to all besides mitigating the hardships of refugees of all shades. To secure this mission, an organizational need is felt to highlight the issues of National and State importance but also to defeat the negative forces which have been creating tensions and vitiating the socio-political fabric. After thorough discussions among the public spirited and prominent citizens belonging to different segments that a well considered decision has been taken in floating an umbrella organization under the name of “Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Forum” and hoped that people cutting across caste, creed, religious and political lines would come on this platform with single minded devotion to achieve the enlisted goals.
