Militant Commanders prefer female bodyguards for being loyal

Perhaps learned from the past incidents where some of active militant commanders were killed by their immediate associates for varied reasons like taking over the command etc, now the militant commanders operating in the hilly terrains of Doda district prefer to have female bodyguards. The reason is said to be female bodyguards are more loyal, emotional, attached and faithful particularly when it comes to protect husbands whom they love most. In the difficult terrain of Doda district, 35 militants including two well trained female are operating in Doda, Marmat, Desa, Bhaderwah, Gundoh areas while 131 youth of this district are either undergoing training in camps across the Line of Control (LoC) or waiting for the crossing over to this side of border. Official sources in the police said that hardcore militants Ishaq Butt code name Atique and Khalid who is District Commander of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit and Abdul Rashid Skeikh code name Arslan have female bodyguards. The two female militants trained in operating weapons include Shabnam of Kalothran area of Gundoh and Rubina from Shiva Pudoda area of Doda. According to police sources, Shabnam is a trained bodyguard Lashkar Distt Commander Ishak Butt code Atique while Rubina is bodyguard of HM Commander Abdul Rashid Sheikh code Arslan and Khalid. Both these Commanders have married these trained women and have been assigned the task of their protection. Sources said that among 35 militants operating in different areas of Doda district some are hardcore namely Abdul Lateef code Hamza Bali of Marmat Doda area, Javeed Qureshi of Marmat Doda, Tariq Mattu code Prince of Kishtwar, Ghulam Mohammed code Gulmando and Rafia Molvie, Riyaz Ahmed of Ramban operating Doda Distt, Shaheen Parveez, Pakistani hardcore militants Abu Ans (Distt Commander of Lashkar, another Pakistani Abu Maaz tehsil Zimadar of Lashkar outfit, Shadeen Khanday of Chilli Gandoh who is Tehsil Commander of HM, Gama Deputy Commander of HM and Tariq of Gundoh. Police sources added that 131 youngsters from Doda district, who were recruited by Pakistani Militant camps, are desperate to return back. The youngsters enrolled in Pakistani militant camps during 1990s, wanted to return now as they face poor living conditions in the camps, police said quoting their families.
